If I am getting your issue correctly - You mean to say that in first scenraio when you are applying for half day leave for Part- timers, system is behaving properly hence error is also obvious if you are recoridng half day leave for 4.5 hrs.
Now in second scenario , if you are booking 4.5 hrs under Annual leave (Full- day), system is deducting 1 day instead of 0.50 days ( Hope this is what you meant to say and this is an issue)
Please check below :
- table T559L and T556C if any rounding rule is maintained and see what that rounding rules means, better do not map any rounding rule,system will take exact hours which is maintained for absence record.
- T556C, check if appropriate deduction rule is maintained or not.
In short ,Your issue would be fixed if you cross check config for mapping of rounding rule, and deduction rule with counting rules for your ESG and PSG.
