Let's zero in on this:
We are using Crystal report 2008 trail version as part of development. Also I have read in few blogs that in PAID version of Crystal report 2008 conversion of space character is automatically taken care by software.
There is no difference between the eval and purchased versions... other than a service pack level. And I believe the eval is at SP 3, but SP 6 is the latest SP for CR 2008. Please see if SP 6 resolves the issue. SP 6 can be downloaded from here:
