Please see SAP Note 1607816 for instructions on how to upgrade the ASE version on Windows.

Please update the corresponding DBCLIENT for this installation as well - we advise that both the ASE & DBCLIENT drivers versions be comparable & on the latest version. SAP Note 1590719 lists the driver version on par with the desired ASE version.
