Here's the deal, I'm trying to bring to an existing UI some functionality that isn't currently into the PDI Scope. I've been thinking about it and the only solution that I can bring is to use an external tool (such as C#, ASP.net, or Silverlight in this case) and make a mashup into the screen.

Since Silverlight is supported and we can create custom panes, and then import them into the ByD within an Embedded Component I though that I'll be able to consume the data that I need from a Web Service, and then show that information, or custom pane within the existin UI.

But I just came up with this dead end step..
