Bapi_Requirements_Create Issue

Hi Friends,

I am using BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CREATE to generate Planned Independent Requirements.

The input data to this BAPI is from an incoming IDOC type LOIPLO01. The data in the incoming Idoc is material, qty, date, UOM.

One of the import parameters to this BAPI is REQUIREMENT_PARAM. SAP says that this parameter is not evaluated and should not be used.

Can anyone tell me what are the impacts of using this import parameter?

In this parameter, I intend to use SYNCRON = X and STATUS =X to synchronize the PIR creation and avoid the 06 11 error message of "Requirements already exists".

Pl provide your expert opinions ASAP.
